Stellantis (formerly known as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA)), the seventh-largest automaker in the world, designs, engineers, manufactures and sells passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, components and production systems worldwide. Stellantis is an international auto group engaged in industrial activities in the automotive sector through companies located in 40 countries and has commercial relationships with customers in approximately 150 countries. Stellantis will be involved EMEA Product Development with the Interior, Engine Systems and the Vehicle and Concept Integration Departments.

Main tasks in the project:

Stellantis will be involved in WP1 – Task 1.2 Holistic model of passenger comfort supplying testing support, leveraging their full climatic wind tunnel and NVH facilities for thermal and NVH experiments, in order to prioritize additional comfort factors, not normally considered in thermal comfort models.

Stellantis will also contribute to WP5  – Task 5.2 User centered control strategies to develop the software to implement the regulation strategies into the demonstrator vehicle and to WP5  – Task 5.3 Pre-conditioning to provide target performance and product specifications, besides performing the packaging study necessary to the integration of the phase change material components in the demonstrator vehicle.

At last Stellantis will be responsible for the integration of all components in the prototypical vehicle based on a model year 2013 FIAT 500e car in the frame of WP6 – Task 6.1, while conducting the final cost assessment jointly with Tier 1 partners, in Task 6.3 Full Vehicle assessment & Cost assessment.

Stellantis will also participate in WP7 – Task 7.2 Exploitation of project results and tuning to partners individual interests, in order to increase the exploitation potential of the project results.
